GamesTM (October 2008)
This was a two week work placement at Imagine Publishing, working on their multi-format games magazine. My main duties included assisting with the standing pages, the smaller reviews and previews, as well as observing and learning from the environment. Several of my articles were published in issues 76 and 77 of the magazine.
Freelancing (May 2008 – Date)
I have also worked for various gaming websites on a freelance basis, including: Xbox360Achievements, TalkXbox, AvidGamer and Gameslave.co.uk. The work mainly involved news, previews and reviews.
The Wire (Multi-Media Newspaper) (October 2006 – May 2009)
I was actively involved in my university's student newspaper since starting the course. I began as a writer, and then became the editor for the website during my second year, where I managed all of the content, as well as helped to drive the website's growth.
